Youtube Partnership

Thanks to Fullscreen, I may be a youtube partner within a week. I currently need to go through a process but I already signed a contract so I will obviously be a partner very soon. Just wanted to share that since if  I do become a partner the channel will go through a whole new make over and I will put way more effort into getting videos in early and better. So get ready :).

Halo 4: Returning - Achievements! Original Soundtrack 1 & 2 Details! (Halo 4 News, leaks etc)

Want to touch upon that Halo 4: Returning is returning! Yes, see, I don't like name's like "Halo 4 News" and "Halo 4 Update", I felt Halo 4: Returning was my best name of a series. It's different and it just sounds better in my opinion. The old intro style is back with the Halo 4 trailers instead of just a camera panning on one picture. Hopefully I stick with this name this time. And if you are reading this, make sure to let your friends know about TheReclaimers343.

Now before I talk about the things I wanted to talk about in the update, I would like to say if you saw  mass deletion of videos, it wasn't my fault. Well it was, but it was because of copyright. If I want to keep my channel up and get a promotion with it I have to have zero copyright, so no music in the background or nothing until I start voice acting again, which may be never. But just enjoy it, I guess, it's like old times.

Now, onto what I wanted to talk about. Since the new achievements were revealed, it exposed how many campaign missions would there be. And there are 8, and before you try to ask 343 for a change, the campaign is finished. When I mean finished, it's finished. Done, put to the side and 343 is now working on the other modes. See, what I don't like about the sound of 8 missions makes it seem there won't be enough missions to hold the story. I know, mission count does not define game length but I just always assume that missions in Halo are normally short for long-term players. Except for Halo 2, I've played Halo 2 many times but the campaign seems really long, which makes it a good thing. Halo 3 was long the first time I played it, but now it seems it's way too short and the story didn't really 'fit' in it. It seemed kind of rushed. You may be thinking I'm excluding out Halo 1, but that campaign was long for me, but not long enough. Halo 4 should be around 10 hours in length, because I suppose it should have a giant story to start off. But that's just me.

Halo 4 Update: PAX Prime 2012! (Halo 4 News)

Hey guys, check out this update, then after you are done check out the script of what I think would be a good trailer, in my opinion!



So, after I found out about Halo 4 will make an appearance at PAX, I rushed to create this video. Along with that, I created a discussion topic down at HaloWaypoint's forums to talk about what people want to see at PAX for Halo 4. Followed by that question, I posted a script I made in attempt to forge a Halo 4 trailer out of my mind, that I think would be a great trailer. Here it is (I pretty much threw it together, not a professional writer or anything.):

BLACK SCREEN

Cortana - Chief!? Chief!

SILENCE. CAMERA FADES IN ON THE CRASH SITE OF THE FORWARD UNTO DAWN ON REQUIEM ZOOMING ON THE SITE. THE CAMERA THEN CHANGES FROM AN ANGLE WHERE YOU CAN SEE HEAVY SMOKE AND A MAJORITY OF THE BROKEN SHIP. SECONDS LATER, OUT OF THE SMOKE CHIEF RISES.

CAMERA THEN CHANGES TO BEHIND CHIEF AS HE STARES INTO THE SKIES OF REQUIEM.


Master Chief - Where are we?

Cortana - I don't know..

CAMERA GOES BLACK. 

??? - Days have past..

CAMERA QUICKLY OPENS UP TO SEE FORERUNNER BUILDINGS AND PILLARS AS A PELICAN FLIES THROUGH. CAMERA THEN CUTS TO BLACK AGAIN.

??? - For centuries I have been waiting..

CAMERA OPENS UP AGAIN TO SEE CHIEF STANDING IN FRONT OF A FORERUNNER SHIP, CUTS TO BLACK AGAIN.

??? - The time is right, I must be awakened.

CAMERA OPENS AGAIN, SHOWING THE CRYPTUM BEING ACTIVATED AND SLOWLY RISING, AS THE MUSIC GETS INTENSE, THE CAMERA FADES OUT THEN BACK IN SLOWLY AS YOU SEE CHIEF ON THE GROUND, CRAWLING BACK WITH NO WEAPONS AS A SHADOW APPROACHES HIM.

??? - I have long dreamt of this day..

THE CAMERA CHANGES TO VIEW CHIEF'S HELMET AS YOU CAN SEE A TINT OF THE ENEMY IN HIS VISOR.

??? - Reclaimer..

CAMERA GOES TO BLACK. THE MUSIC GETS INTENSE AND YOU SEE MARINES BEING OVERRUN BY CRAWLERS.

THEN, YOU SEE ELITES BATTLING OFF AGAINST KNIGHTS, SOME GETTING SHOT DEAD.

NEXT, YOU SEE A GRUNT RUN PAST THE CAMERA TO SEE IT PAN ON A GROUP OF CRAWLERS, KNIGHTS AND WATCHERS. CAMERA CUTS TO BLACK.


CORTANA - Wake up John!

CAMERA OPENS UP TO SEE CHIEF BURST OUT OF HIS CYRO TUBE, THEN THE SCENE SWITCHES TO MULTIPLE GAMEPLAY FOOTAGES AND CAMPAIGN SCENES. THEN ENDS OFF WITH A GLIMPSE OF THE ANCIENT EVIL AND A SMALL LITTLE LAUGH.


Not the best, but a nice little script, right? Anyway, go tell me what you want to see at PAX Prime here, on HaloWaypoint.

Halo 4 Update: New Weapons, Specialization Features, New Map!?

Hey guys, new update here. First, watch the update then I will talk a bit about the weapons and the new map.




Now, let's talk a bit about the new weapons.


The Suppressor, a brand new weapon making it's way to Halo 4. What is it supposed to be? Well I'm guessing it is basically the rapid fire gun, I believe, for the Prometheans. It looks different than the other forerunner weapons, although I only presume that because we never seen it yet in without the skin (which I think looks really cool, props 343). But, like the Scattershot and Light Rifle, it will probably have that silver-ish look to it as well as orange lights. I think it looks great, but I normally prefer human weapons when it comes to Halo, not sure why. Hopefully this gun makes me change that thought with all it's awesomeness.



The Boltshot, another new Promethean weapon heading at you. Little is known about this weapon and I can't really make assumptions about it yet, since it's hard to tell what it does just looking at it. I think it is like an SMG type weapon for the Prometheans but what changes my mind about that is that people got images hidden within the UNSC Weapons trailer which also leads me to believe it's a flamethrower, which seems more believable since those Promethean AI were built to eliminate the flood with their weapons that are supposed to get rid of any kind of material by making it dissolve, and flamethrowers are just kind of the way to go with 'zombie' like creatures. Like in Halo 3, the flame thrower was powerful against the flood, which I would love to burn. I don't have those images right now, but they are not all that great since they are just snapshots of the boltshot apparently being used from a far distance, so it isn't something to stress for about. Anyway, we don't know what this weapon does for sure but let's just assume it's a flame thrower, for now. Hopefully it's powerful.

Now, let's talk about the new artwork shown of a new apparently big team battle map.


Before I just talk in depth about this, may I just say that is amazing artwork and looks really beautiful, nice job 343! Hopefully the map is just as awesome. Now onto topic, what we see here is new concept art for a new map in Halo 4, which is going to be a big team battle map. It seems to be an open area which looks like a ship to me, but more or less a mountain top with scrap parts lying around like Boneyard on Halo: Reach. In the background we can see some sort of tower with looks very forerunner, so this map could be based on Requiem. Now to my taste, it looks great but I think it is too open, so I hope 343 will place 'bases' around the place to give it more of a big team battle feel, or a map in general feel since all it looks like is a giant open canvas right now, which makes me think that this could instead be the 2nd out of 3 maps designed for forge build, instead of one giant map like Forge World. It looks great for Forge instead, nice and open. Hopefully this is just a simple concept and will change much more later in development.

Halo 4 Update: Weapon skins and new behind the scenes trailer!

Hey guys, here's a new update, showing off the new weapon skins. In the video I call the forerunner weapon a "Promethean Repeater" but it is actually called the Suppressor which I clear up in my newest update (at the bottom).




Next, the old 'creating Halo 4' trailer is now out without the narrator, since the narrator was first there just to talk about movies and video games, since the original trailer is currently playing in theatres. Now it's on our computer screens, so check it out and listen to the awesome soundtrack!
